yamizi's slimming challenge day-9 23.01.09

This is what I have eaten so far and I had taken meat!:-

past midnight:- 1 bottle of Yakult original and orange flavour

breakfast:- prawn rolls (same as the previous day) and 2 slices of Gardenia wholemeal bread spread with Snow margarine

lunch:- white rice, some stir-fried beancurd with egg-fillings, spicy diced chicken, honey-glazed chicken wings, 1 cup of teh-o

snacking:- prawn rolls again!!!

late night dinner at Food#03:- chup chai pasta, salad, a kind of tomato and don't-know-what soup with bread

My weight is 99.8kg!!! It has shoot up again. Tien and I were wondering why. Probably it will be more sitable to go more intense after Chinese New Year! Anyway the chup chai pasta really very nice. I like that sour-sour type of taste. It's very appetitizing.

Thanks! Happy CNY! Gong xi fa cai!

May you can do a series of post on tarot card reading ?

Do u read 紫微斗数 or 八字 also? I started reading them recently.

My ultimate wish is to be able to do Chinese divination that includes 八字, 易经 and 紫微斗数 (I would like to learn in that sequence). But so far, it is very expensive to learn them. There is a difference between learning off from reading and picking up from a teacher. I would like to learn from a teacher.

What do you mean by series of Tarot card reading? You mean the history or something like that? I'm meeting a group of Tarot card readers in Singapore on 7 Feb. See what can I learn from them. Till now, I depend more on my intuition and lesser on the universal meaning of the card. 'cos still cannot remember all the cards universal meaning mah. lol

Ya.. something for the beginners. I have seen some chinese blogs done for the bazi n ziwei. And that's how I got interested in them. Hahaha :)

Btw, any particular reason for that sequence? 八字, 易经 and 紫微斗数

Yup..Learning from a teacher is definitely different from reading from books. But is really very $$$$.

Hmm...I am too amatuer to probably write something decent about Tarot cards. I will take in your suggestion and write when I think I can really put up something decent =)

紫微斗数 is a science (I said science because they have proper protocols and calculation to adhere to, not hocus-pocus stuff) of divination, believing that a person's destiny can be analysed by charting up a 命盘 by using that person's 八字. So I think 八字 has to be very good before you can do a decent 紫微斗数 chart.

I think you should know why 八字 is called 八字 right? 八字 is derived from one's birth-year, month, day, time (年月日时). Each of these elements is made up of 1 天干 and 1 地支, so 4 x 2 makes up 8. In 八字 carries the different proportions of your 五行. An ideal one would be a balance of all 5 elements. These are like 'numerologies' in the western context.

易经占卜 has a few varietions. It is like the tarot reading. When you ask a question, there is a certain way for you to cast the lots, coins or some other items. From the combinations, it will derive to a 卦数 out of 六十四卦 (that derived from 八卦). From each 卦数, you can tell the process of your divination. If I'm not wrong, there are 6 stages to each chain of process, as each 卦数 has 6 lines. Different combination of these lines, full/broken (represeting yin and yang), gives an unique reading.

So...ya, that's why I want to learn in that sequence. Basic 八字 can sort of analyse what is the proportion of elements and some basic 易经占卜 should be enough to solve current and near-future problems.

But no one to learn from now. So...still hanging in the air =)
